Happy Anniversary 41 Club GB&I – a message from National President Jason Thomson

This year marks an extraordinary milestone in our journey — the 80th Anniversary of 41 Club GB&I.

On 13th May 1945, four pioneering Clubs – Liverpool (1936), London Old Tablers Society (1939), Lytham St Annes (1941) and Wakefield (1943) – came together in Wakefield (a city in England) with a shared vision.  That historic day, they founded the National Association of Ex-Tablers’ Clubs, driven by the belief that the friendships formed in Round Table were too valuable to leave behind.

Whether you’re raising a glass, attending a club event, or simply catching up with an old friend, a great big Thank You to all 41 Club GB&I members for the part they have played in our Association.  On 13th September we will come together in Birmingham to celebrate eight decades of memories made, support given, lives changed and the shared journey that has bound us together across time, distance and experience.

And let’s not forget that 2025 is the 50th Anniversary of 41 INTERNATIONAL so let’s all honour the past by shaping a future where the spirit of 41 Club continues to thrive for generations to come.

Cheers, Gentlemen – here’s to us!

Jason Thomson
