41 INTERNATIONAL and TANGENT CLUB WORLD HALF YEAR MEETING in Verona
We are back!
Dear members of the Round Table family, Verona is back. After two attempts (May 2020, June 2021) to organize the International AGM cancelled due to the pandemic, Verona, the city of “Romeo and Juliet”, will organize the international Half Yearly Meeting (hybrid version) from the 15th to the 17th of October.
Local COVID-19 conditions forced Brasov and Romania to renounce to holding the event. We all know how frustrating this is, and thank our Romanian friends for the great effort put into the preparation. It won’t have been done in vain – your meeting will come!
The Board of 41 International then decided to find a place with better conditions, and found it in Verona as the Italian vaccination campaign has progressed further than in most countries.
There are about 200 places for live participants available.
Only those who have been fully vaccinated for at least fourteen days or have tested negatively on the day before or on the same day of the relevant events will be admitted to meetings and dinners.
Members who wish to arrive earlier in the week are welcome.
The highlights of the weekend will be a dinner in the Old Castle of Verona on Thursday, a performance of the tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” on Friday afternoon and the gala evening at Palazzo della Gran Guardia in front of the Arena on Saturday.
The HYM of 41 International asbl will take place on Saturday morning starting 9 o’clock.
The HYM of Tangent Club International will take place on Saturday afternoon starting 3 pm (15.00 hrs).
The HYMs will be hybrid and delegates and guests can connect over Zoom at a link that will be sent out in good time, as well as information on how votes will be carried out technically.
