115 new school classrooms “All4Nepal” schools projects [Jason Thomson]

Well what can I say….

it has been a non stop TOTALLY AWESOME 68hrs in Nepal, visited 3 cities, about 10hrs of car travel, a 16min flight and some high temps and humidity (l love aircon)… but totally worth it all as we managed to see 11 school projects, attend an inauguration of a completed school and officially open it, lay a foundation stone for the start of a new school that is the last of the “All4Nepal” schools projects, hand out shoes and rain coats to the pupils to help them attend school, see the commitment of the RT clubs locally to continue the development with the new buildings and supporting the future that is the young people, reviewing the accounts with Akash Golchha ….68hrs of totally overwhelming experiences!

Met many old friends like NVP Ravi Khetan, IPP Nikhil Jaisani and made new with many Nepal tablers through all the fellowship gatherings. I even got to attend the legend that is Manoj Kumar Das last social as a Tabler (he got all emotional)!
Received my honorary member certificate from NP Jayant Agrawal which is a great honour for me and he was also my awesome host while I have been here, and to then be able to attend Nepal’s biggest beer festival run by Nikunj Agarwal and the guys to watch England win… can’t get any better than that… only in RT!

The headline is that the “All4Nepal” project has delivered 115 new school classrooms, and some much needed toilet blocks this is way, way more than the expectations when this journey started and that is thanks to you RT International family for the support and significant donations circa €410,000.00 making this the largest ever donation with all the associations together!!!! But just as important is the All4Nepal committee and Nepal Tablers who have committed to deliver and “make a difference” in their communities. Be very proud as I am of you all!! There will be a final report and video to be issued soon to share all the success, here are some pics of the time we have had… I now need to catch up on some sleep!
