SPEECH given by Ulrich Suppan, the new 41 International President, at the international AGM in Pörtschach 28.04.2018

Dear Presidents, dear delegates!

The focus of the work of the 41 International board was, is and always will be to keep the values of our club strong

Since 2001 I have done this as a member of the Austrian board.

Why did I take on this new task and what will I try to accomplish with your help.

I will stand for strengthening of our friendship on regional, national and international 41 level. Furthermore we have to find a solution with our 41 friends in France.

I will stand for the strengthening of our partnership with RT: We have created a wonderful platform with MOU (Memorandum of understanding) and now this has to be fulfilled with life and live day by day.

I will stand for the strengthening of our YAP program: Each one of the more as 50.000 members should know what YAP stands for and personally contribute to keep this programme growing by acting as host or motivator to their children.

At last but not least I will stand for the strengthening of the service: I will create the “Club 41 International Service Price of Education”.

This price will be awarded annually to one 41 nation, that has made a high effort to support an Education Program on national or international level.

I will ask each nation to donate voluntarily per year at least 1 euro per member or at least 1000 euro per nation to finance this price. Austria has already confirmed its support.

To support Education will be the key for better development – for the affected and for our club.

The value of Education will give 41 International another exclusive characteristic.

I therefore ask you to support me and our Board to increase our values – friendship, partnership, family and service – for the benefit of each club, each 41 nation and 41 International.
