International Women’s Day [Bruce McKay]

Today is International Women’s Day and it is important for us to recognise all the women around the world and show just how much we appreciate them. With this said I would like to share my International Women’s Day message with you and dedicate it especially to all the women in Agora, Tangent and Ladies Circle our sister organisations as well as all the wives of the Round Tablers and 41 Club members world wide and then lastly to all other women out there.

 

Today is a celebration for women all over the world,

Ladies who have dreamed big, since they were little girls.

For the diversity and talent that lie within the feminine heart,

For the courage and determination that prevents us from falling apart.

 

We can raise families and build businesses and be proud of all our achievements

Where once over, visions of that scale, could never have been believed.

Ladies, stand up and be counted, smile at how far we’ve come together 

And cherish every single day, as daughter, wife, companion for mom.

 

Don’t let anyone tell you that there are set paths for you to follow

A little girl with passion today, is an inspiring women of tomorrow.

So celebrate all women with me today and acknowledge the great things they do

And tell the Lady close to your heart, just how much she means to you.

 

Ladies I salute you for your courage, friendship, companionship and over all tenacity.

 

Be assured we love and respect you all….enjoy this day and be proud to be a women!
