41Club Heart Of England Dinner with Queens Former Body Guard [Marcus Jones]
Recently Heart Of England 41 Club held an evening of fellowship and continued friendships by inviting members from all around GB&I to attend a great evening. The evening consisted of great food, wine and of course banter.
David Cambell 41Club GB&I President gave a great update on the progress of the clubs around the country along with member projects, especially the support given to Dave’s charity of the year, The Princess Trust.
Followed by an absolute pleasure of a presentation by the former body guard to HRH Her Majesty The Queen, Richard Griffin LVO.
Griffin took us through 30 years of background stories of the Royal Family which led to his appointment to the Queen, including his time with Round Table’s GB&I Patron HRH Prince Phillip.
The room of Ex Tablers listened with intrigue and laughter over a very personal account of his career and behind the scenes, something I would highly recommend anyone to attend given the chance.
41Club continues to offer new events, new experiences and new adventures for all Ex Tablers around the world.
