Interview: Barry Durman on the “Christmas Parcel Convoy” Moldovan Tour

Day 1 on the Christmas Parcel Convoy. It goes from Germany to Ukraine Romania and Moldova (which is our trip). The theme is Children Helping Children. So children in Germany make boxes of presents for orphans, ill and very disadvantaged children in these countries. We deliver them. Simples? It’s not. Tremendous organisation with, wait for it, 132000 parcels in total for the children. Unbelievable, simply unbelievable. Last year it was 106000. The Round Table family of clubs in action. Perhaps GB should join in.
