The VE Day Tea Party will be moved to a future date in November, due to the expected numbers being over 400 on the day and the age of attendees being the most vulnerable age group and EX SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN, – the future date will be close to Remembrance Sunday within the Presidents Planning.
The Ypres Tour will he moved to the evening of Sunday 8th/Monday 9th November following Remembrance Sunday parade. Details to follow

The year head represents a new decade, “2020” will be one of the most significant years in our history, not only do we celebrate 75 years of The Association of Ex Round Tablers Great Britain & Ireland.
We also celebrate the year with new and exciting partnerships, through the great work behind the scenes led by Marcus Jones.
We are creating a year of amazing partnerships for the members, we are working with SSAFA for the National VE Day celebrations whilst also working directly with the Queens representative Pageant Master Bruno Peek OBE, MBE, LVO, the work around the May Bank Holiday VE DAY start the year of at a pace for the members. There are also significant partnerships with Dementia UK, one that is very close to my heart.
On the business side of things I am setting a challenge for the council at this year’s AGM, I am asking the council to focus on the future of the association; we need a significant new plan, which is created by the members for the members.
We have created a weekend of events that showcase 75 years of 41Club GB&I, with attendees from all over the world being hosted in the amazing newly refurbished facilities of the De Vere Orchard Hotel.
Nations Night;
Foods of the World from our inside market stalls. Gin Bar/ Beer Bars and live music to kick start the party weekend celebrations, the evening dress will be national colourful attire, chose a country attire you want to dress up in.
Fantastic vibrant entertainment for all to enjoy. Amazing music and entertainment.
Best dressed individual/club and country will win a special prize on the night.
Kick of the weekend with a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and party.
Peter Good National President 2020 Presents the 75th Gala Dinner Continued Friendship Black Tie Event.
We kick off with a champagne reception and the wonderful music of The National Dementia UK Choir and Musical Artists.
Members of The Round Table Family nationally and internationally will attend along with local Entertainment from the home of Robin Hood!
Live Music from an amazing 80’s band, supported by special recognition awards during the evening and even a few local celebrity stars in attendance.
Dancing and a great 4-course meal, all for £55 per person.

I am delighted to head up the 75th year of events for 41Club GB&I whilst supporting our incoming National President Peter Good as his Plc Chairman. The year ahead will start at an amazing pace with the VE Day celebrations. Make sure you toast the nation at 3pm and most of all register your activity, the weekend events will be supported by many clubs around the UK and include such activities like; The Great British Tea Party, National Arboretum visit, London Old Tablers Event, a tour to Belgium and so much more.
Then dial forward eight weeks and the world of 41club will descended on the East Midlands for a two day extravaganza of events for all members of the Round Table Family, come and help celebrate 75years of Continued Friendships.
